I have always been a minimalist when it comes to jewellery. Dainty, delicate, timeless pieces are my thing. I also don’t change jewellery too frequently. Once I like a piece, chances are you’ll see me wearing it for atleast 3 or 4 months. For now, this is what I have been loving and it comes in a pretty little blue box.
The starfish bracelet from the Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti collection was a present from the husband. I love designs that are water-related so I guess he knew this would be right up my alley. It’s absolutely gorgeous and so light and dainty that I can wear it everyday and it doesn’t come in the way of yoga or typing on the laptop. This is important for me when it comes to bracelets and I can’t wear anything even a little chunky on an everyday basis. The tiny little starfish on a thin silver chain is just perfection and it’s so me. You can purchase it from the Tiffany & Co website here.
The olive leaf pendant necklace from the Paloma Picasso collection was a wedding present from some of my girlfriends. I actually already own another necklace in gold from the Paloma Picasso collection and that’s probably my most favourite piece of jewellery. I absolutely love the ENTIRE collection and my close friends knew that, so this was again a perfect present. The reason why I love this collection is because it’s both intricate and simple. I am quite selective when it comes to floral designs and this collection was love at first sight and i can safely say I pretty much love every single piece in the collection. This particular piece in sterling silver is actually slightly bigger than what I would usually wear on a daily basis but the exquisite leaf design is absolutely gorgeous. You can purchase it from the Tiffany & Co website here.
I think jewellery always makes for a great present for most women because it’s something you generally won’t go and buy for yourself too often. I feel so blessed to have a close group of very loving people who know exactly what I’d love.
