Oh look it’s spring caught inside my powder compact! Baby pink, soft lilac, mint green and white all mixed together like confetti captured oh so beautifully in the limited edition Le Neiges de Diorsnow Color Correcting Powder in Rainbow . Dior you epitomise pretty for me.
The powder is so finely milled and tightly packed together that it almost feels hard cos most brushes will pick up quite a small amount of the powder. However, you don’t need too much of the product which I only realised once I had played around with the product for a couple of days. Once I apply it in the morning, it pretty much lasts for at least 8 hours. It mattifies but doesn’t flatten the complexion even when I apply it all over the face. Because it’s so tightly packed, it looks undetectable on the skin and does not make your pores look enlarged. It basically adds a soft smoothening veil to finish of your makeup perfectly. I recommend using a fluffy, medium sized powder brush like Real Techniques blush brush with it.
I am glad I bought it but I definitely don’t think the product is totally out of this world. I think hourglass ambient lighting powders and chanel les beiges powders kind of give a similar effect. But i am a limited edition junkie and this is so pretty it almost makes me want to get out of bed on workday mornings.
I grabbed mine at the DIOR BACKSTAGE counter at ION ORCHARD but I am sure it will run out of stock very very soon so grab one quick if you love anything pastel coloured and always appreciate a good finishing powder.
